Arsenal Soccer Schools India in association with India On Track (IOT – Arsenal Soccer Schools) is excited to join hands with JCT to work together in the field of youth and grassroots football development. Together IOT - Arsenal and JCT will develop various programmes to nurture football talent in the region including grassroots initiatives, youth development programmes and the setting up of a JCT Academy in the town of Hoshiarpur.

IOT – Arsenal Soccer Schools brings to this association experience in football grassroots development, having successfully executed the same in various cities of the country.

JCT has been a name to reckon with in Indian football ever since the JCT football team was formed in 1971 by JCT Limited, a leading textile mill of India and has won almost every major championship of the country. JCT has worked at all levels of football from the championship team in the league to running the JCT Academy for various age group of youngsters, working for development of football at grass root level in Punjab.
India On Track (IOT), a football development organization has partnered with Arsenal FC, one of the leading football clubs in the world and together with the Club, we run IOT

Arsenal Soccer Schools in India, where we provide full-time training and conditioning to students and teach them to ‘Play the Arsenal way’.

IOT Arsenal Soccer Schools came to India in July 2013 and set up its first centre in New Delhi. Buoyed by the success of our programme at the first centre, we went on to set-up centres in four other locations in Delhi. In the short duration of 12 months, we have successfully set-up and operated 5 centres in Delhi/NCR and 3 in Mumbai training close to 500 children on a full-time basis. We have also trained over 3000 children through workshops and camps conducted in various cities across India.

IOT – Arsenal Soccer Schools is fast expanding to all major cities of India, with our Chennai, Kerala and Pune operations commencing from September 2014.

We pride ourselves in the technical expertise we bring to the fore through our team of highly qualified international and Indian coaches, spearheaded by our Technical Director David Moliner Monedero, a UEFA Pro licensed coach. David, a Spaniard, has worked extensively in India in the field of grassroots development and is a specialist in identifying and developing talented young footballers.

With the association with JCT, we are confident of bringing the expertise of a big international club and ensuring that it reaches the young talented footballers in India.

JCT to re-introduce its football team next year in second division

JCT has plans to restart its football team next year, and will build a strong football team which will enter into professional football with II-Division I-League next season.

The association between JCT and IOT – Arsenal Soccer Schools will play a big role in running of the team professionally, with the coach and other technical support coming from IOT – Arsenal Soccer Schools.

JCT Football Team was formed in the year 1971 by JCT Limited. JCT’s football team was one of the top teams in India and was placed 3rd in the I-League season 2007-08 and was the Runners-up of the National Football League for the season 2006 – 07. Besides this, JCT finished as runners-up of Durand Cup Football Tournament in the year 2010-11.

National Football League is the most prestigious football tournament of India which JCT won in the inaugural year of the league in 1996 – 97. JCT has also won Durand Cup 5 times in the years 1976, 1983, 1987, 1992 & 1996 and were runners-up 6 times during the years 1974, 1975, 1977, 1981, 1985 & 2006. JCT won the Federation Cup 2 times in 1995 & 1996.

JCT won the Scissors Cup of India in the year 1995, won the IFA Shield in the year 1996, won Rovers Cup of India in the year 1997 and were runners up thrice in the years 1979, 1984 & 1992. JCT were also runners-up thrice of DCM Trophy of India.

JCT were also the runners-up for first Super Cup of India in the year 1997 besides winning the Punjab State Super Football League 9 times, in the years 1987, 1990, 1991, 1995, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and were runners-up 4 times during 1985, 1988, 1992 & 1999.

India on Track

India on Track (IOT) has been set up to inculcate a culture of sport among the youth and create a platform to learn and participate in various disciplines. Most importantly, to do so by creating grassroots initiatives executed in a secure environment through world class training and conditioning techniques.

IOT aims to create recreational opportunities for children to learn and play a sport and imbibe the essential skills, fitness, technical and mental fortitude along with the satisfaction of participating in a whole and productive activity.

The company also aims to create a system for raw talent to be carefully nurtured into world class athletes through high-level training while also creating opportunities for our talent pool to showcase their skills on the global stage.

As its first initiative, India on Track led by Gaurav Modwel and Vivek Sethia, have joined the family of Arsenal FC Partners. The new long-term deal gives the opportunity to open official Arsenal Soccer Schools throughout India.
